Years ago I visited New Orleans and took photos of Madonna statutes that were in churches that have since closed. In fact a few of them were closed at the time and I was lucky I had access. Maybe I should scan them. h’mm a new project. I just used those old disposable cameras and didn’t have much experience at photo taking. I think I’ll look for that album. I had a particular interest in the Black Madonna and enjoyed this book, “Tara and the Search for the Black Madonna.” Or something close. It was about a religious pilgrimage a woman took..far into Tibet and beyond. I had to delete my twitter account for a strange technical reason I don’t understand. I have to say I agree with the idea of being empty and open as an artist. I've been rather scattered and tangled because of reality so have not been able to immerse myself in my work as much as I would like to.
