Beautiful pieces and a beautiful blog post. Interesting take on surrender. Something I think I need to do more myself.

I am deeply moved by both your words and images Sybil. The bound hands - so powerful yet lovingly, delicately bound by the words. I just love it! You've described perfectly what I truly strive towards in my life, working with the health challenges that seem unending. Recently I wonder if I've truly learned surrender and acceptance, as I feel *okay* with what is, or if I've become numbed with detachment from overload as I began chemo yesterday and also learned that the lupus has damaged my lungs, infiltrating once unaffected internal organs. throughout, my mantra remains 'all is well, always', however that may not appear in a form that looks "well" at all from the outside! There seems no other choice but to accept, and your work inspires me to see the higher reasoning to our suffering. xxoo
