These pieces are about
surrendering to the act of creation without
judgment. I found that I was controlling the
creative process too much. I wanted to enter into
the void, womb of creation, and mingle with the Divine
creative energies there. To be a vessel to let the
Divine Creator pour through. Thus I acted on this clay
only by instinct and stopped in the moment I felt this
internal flow recede. These pieces are a captured
instant of the creative process made concrete.
